"Behind the Story" with James Duthie (TSN Broadcasting Icon)
In episode 9, I'm joined by Canadian broadcasting icon James Duthie. Over the course of his illustrious career, James has hosted TSN's coverage of the NHL, the World Juniors, and even the Olympics. Winning numerous awards over that span, James has also invested time in analyzing various aspects of sport, most recently through his book Beauties and his 2015 feature, The Butterfly Child. Being a TSN staple for the past decade plus, James has become a recognizable name in the sport media industry, with a multitude of sports fans being familiar with his work. With an off day on the NHL schedule, James joins the podcast to chat about his mentality on and off the air, the unforgiving nature of the sports industry, and some of his biggest inspirations behind his body of work.
