How to Future Proof Yourself Interview - Harry Rice

Published: May 6, 2020, 9 a.m.

Today's podcast is about how to future proof yourself as a new startup business. Harry Rice tells us about his experiences and what he does to future proof himself. He demonstrates and explains that networking has become fundamental to his business and enabled him to progress quickly. He has the right people to turn to at the right times.

Building business relationships is not always about selling your business, rather communicate about your personal skills, your strengths, and where you could be of value to others. In return, you will build up a network of people who you can ask for help when the time comes. Its okay to lean on people to get professional or personal advice, but don't do it during an introduction or at a networking event. Find the right time to interact with people in a meaningful way and do not take anyone's skills for granted.
