September 15th the University of Florida held a ceremony that had a somber but uplifting feel. The event was to unveil a historical marker, the UF Integration Pioneers Historical Maker, to be more specific .The marker recounts the story of desegregation at UF and highlights some of the key moments in UF’s history.
