In this episode we discuss the effects of PTSD on leadership, workforce diversity, inclusive culture, and what effective leadership looks like.

Michael Freeman has a Master\\u2019s Degree in Social Work and is a licensed clinical social worker in central Florida. Not only is he a social worker, but he is an executive coach and a life coach, an organizational consultant and a community social worker. In addition to all of that, he works with teams and organizations in the areas of change management, culturally competent leadership development, and diversity, inclusion, equity and social justice. He served as a member of the faculty and staff at the University of Central Florida for over 10 years, where he was the Lead Coordinator of Education and Training for Wellness and Health Promotion Services. Michael\\u2019s community involvement centers around service to the Harbor House of Central Florida which is Orange County\\u2019s Center against Domestic Violence, the Zebra Coalition, and the Central Florida Human-Trafficking Task Force, where he serves as co-chair for the LGBTQ Human Trafficking Sub-Committee. You are a key member of the team over at the OUAC as well. The Orlando United Assistance Center (OUAC) offers support and resources to those impacted by the Pulse tragedy. The City of Orlando, Orange County Government and Heart of Florida United Way came together and formed the OUAC with its primary mission to connect individuals and families with community resources to assist with healing.
