Dario Donahoo is an engineer/driver operator with Orange County Fire Rescue and a close personal friend. Dario began his career in the fire service with Orange County in 2011. He has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Central Florida and is a Major in the Air Force Reserve. He has served in some of the busiest stations in Orange County and he was one of the people who helped me develop the curriculum for OC’s leadership program. He has served in leadership positions throughout his time in the Air Force and Air Force Reserve. He is a veteran of the war’s in Iraq and Afghanistan. As an active duty officer, he has been deployed 3 times; Afghanistan, Niger, and JPED (Joint Personnel Effects Depot) in Aberdeen, Maryland. Additionally, he has been one of my mentors and a voice of reason when I couldn’t find it within myself. He is an amazing leader and a humble man who serves as an example for many men and women within the fire service and the armed forces.
