Don Mann is a retired Navy SEAL Chief Warrant Officer, a New York Times best selling author, an accomplished adventure racer, a motivational speaker, and a man who cares about making the world a better place for children and wounded veterans. In this episode we discuss Don\\u2019s dedication and training, his obsession with being the best, and how he used visualization to achieve his goals. Don tells me about a commitment to himself to never leave anything on the table to the point that he trained hard enough to bleed from at least one orifice. This way he could know for sure he trained hard enough. We talk about how marathons led to ultra-marathons, triathlons, Iron Man triathlons, and competing in double Iron Man triathlons. We of course spoke about leadership; Don compares and contrasts good, great, and poor leadership in the SEALs and we talk about the benefits of working with women in leadership positions.
