The U Sports Men's Basketball Spotlight Series gets underway, as Bishop's Gaiters Men's Basketball Head Coach Rod Gilpin joins the Four Quarters Podcast, powered by Four Quarters Media! In Part One of the four-part series, Coach Gilpin and host Tyler Bennett discuss anything and everything around Rod's basketball coaching career. Coach Gilpin kicks off the show by sharing how he ended up at Bishop's University after playing at Laurentian and working with the Ontario Basketball Association. Gilpin shares what Coach Eddie Pomykala has meant to his career, both as part of his staff with the Gaiters' men's basketball program and when Gilpin made the move to the Women's Program before ultimately taking over for Pomykala when he retired. Then, Gilpin takes a look back at the 2019-20 season and the run to Nationals for the Gaiters.
