As a lifelong athlete, Tony prioritizes health and wellbeing above all else and created the blog “The Legend of the Death Race” as a resource for Obstacle Race Training. Tony constantly seeks the next challenge and has competed at elite levels in Tae Kwon Do; gymnastics; competitive cheerleading; obstacle, endurance, and adventure racing; Ultramarathons; and spent ten years on stage performing as a lead ballet dancer in the Chicago Festival Ballet rendition of the Nutcracker. He has competed in three Spartan Death Races, placed 3rd at the San Diego Alpha Warrior, made it to the City Finals on American Ninja Warrior, created a Death Race training program, helped open the gym REACH Fieldhouse in Chicago, launched Spartan Endurance Internationally and brought the ultramarathon event SISU 24 Ultra to the Pacific Northwest. He has dedicated his life to helping others and has been a life coach for peers, consultant to global businesses, and used his athletic expertise to help motivate others to achieve their dreams. Even though the Legend of the Death Race: Conquering Life with Courage, Power, & Wisdom is Tony’s first published book, it is not his first published work. As the former Editor in Chief of SPARTAN Magazine, Tony’s work has been shared and printed in various publications in the world of obstacle and adventure racing. He continues to update the Legend of the Death Race blog with new podcasts each week that share the "legends" of other Death Racers weekly. You can find out more at www.legendofthedeathrace.com. Tony continues to blog about his latest adventures in mountaineering, ultrarunning, and all other things endurance on www.ThatEnduranceGuy.com. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
