On this week’s episode of our Retro Forensics Faces series, we’re speaking with Trey Smith, the coach from East Mountain High School near Albuquerque, NM. Trey is also his district NSDA chair, and we asked him about his relationship with his administration. Trey’s former Principal was recognized by the NSDA for supporting the speech and debate program at his school. Malyssa and Kirt also had a really good time learning about how speech and debate in New Mexico in some ways resembles what is done in Wisconsin and in other ways is very different.
