Naison is Professor of History and African American Studies at Fordham University, where he also directs the Bronx African American History Project. He created the class \\u201cFrom Rock and Roll to Hip Hop: Urban Youth Cultures in Post War America\\u201d with the goal of encouraging partnerships with Bronx schools relating to the course.
