• Curtis, Murphy, NC, \\u201cI have a neighbor who inherited his mom\\u2019s house over in Franklin. He doesn\\u2019t have the time or money to fix it up. He says it\\u2019s not bad, but his mom lived alone the past 15 years and there are several minor things that need to be fixed. He just wants it gone - he doesn\\u2019t want to rent it out and every month the payment just comes out of the estate. The loan balance is a little more than $83,000. It\\u2019s probably worth about $110,000. This seemed like a great opportunity until I listened to a few of your shows and learned some things about the numbers. Do you have any suggestions? I\\u2019ve been wanting to do a deal, but just don\\u2019t know what can be done here. (We asked offline and the payments are $476 PITI and the fair market rent is $750. The repairs to rent ready condition are estimated at $6500. Also ten years left on loan).
