John Merkh – Immaculata University | Diving into the JUCO and D3 Levels

John Merkh is the Head Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Immaculata University, a Division III school in East Whiteland Township, Pennsylvania.  He began his collegiate playing career at Junior College, Camden County College and then transferred to Penn State Abington University.  He began his collegiate coaching career in 2013 as the Pitching coach at Camden County College.  He was than promoted to the Head Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator and then in 2017 promoted to the Head Coach.  In 2019, he left Camden and accepted the Pitching coach position at Stockton University.  Then, in 2020 he accepted the Head Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator position at Immaculata University, where he still remains. 

In this podcast, we start off talking about Coach Merkh’s time spent at the Junior College level and his experiences there as a player and a coach.  Next, we discuss recruiting at the JUCO and Division III levels, diving into when that recruiting calendar begins.
