Later, from 2015-2016 he coached at Adrian University, then from 2017-2019 he was an assistant coach as well as strength and condition coach at Coker University.  In November of 2019 he was named the Head Coach at Coker University, where he still remains.

In this episode, we start off talking about what Coker baseball players do off of the field and what helped them to receive a team 3.48 gpa in the classroom.  We than dive into player relationships and the importance of those to run a good college program.

Coach Mclaughlin and I also talk about his thoughts on personal goals and team goals.  He uses smaller, weekly goals in order for his players to see the process behind those bigger goals.  Additionally, we talk thoroughly about the day to day life of a college level baseball player and what goes into that.  As well as the importance of an approach when hitting at a higher level.
