Sir John Jenkins has enjoyed a 35 year career in the British Diplomatic Service where he has lived and worked in several countries in the Middle East, such as Kuwait, Malaysia, and the UAE. Amongst other things, he was the director for the Middle East and North Africa in the Foreign Office in London from 2007 to 2009 and was asked to be the lead author of the British Government\\u2019s Muslim Brotherhood Review in 2014.\\u201d
