Brave Voices is hosted by former Track and Field athlete and current FIM Producer, Indi Jackson. It will feature interviews with Black Notre Dame student-athletes to talk about race in their life in whatever form or fashion that they want.
In episode 1, Indi chats with former Notre Dame Leprechaun, Sam Jackson. They discuss his experience as the second ever Black Leprechaun in Notre Dame history and how he handled the issue of race in his public role as the athletics mascot.
Later, they discuss race at Notre Dame and how the campus community can create a more inclusive and understanding environment.
