Liberal candidates one those seats instead. The deputy mayor tells us why they decided to make it happen!\n----\nWARNING LABELS DIRECTLY ON CIGARETTES IN CANADA\n\nJane Brown is now joined by Rob Cunningham, Senior Policy analyst at Canadian Cancer Society.\n\nThe Health Canada regulations of warning statements on individual cigarettes came into effect today. Canada is the first country to implement this and it's a measure meant to dissuade all and particularly kids from smoking. Cigarette manufacturers have until the end of July 2024 to put these labels on their king size cigarettes and until the end of April 2025 for smaller cigars.
