I sat down with Nathalie the day after the 2020 E-MTB World Championships in Austria, and we discussed the differences between high performance is perceived in Europe VS North America, we chat about the epic battle we had together at the inaugural e-mtb world Championships, about how she managed to keep an awesome lifestyle after retiring from pro cycling, and much more. Nathalie Schneitter is a rider from Switzerland…I simply say “rider", because she rides everything. In her career, she competed at the 2008 Olympics in cross-country mountain bike and she won many titles in that discipline. In 2015, she stepped away from her career as a full-time racer to pursue other goals, but the cycling world called her again. In 2019, she became the first ever E-MTB (electric mountain bike) World Champion. She’s a commentator on RedBull TV for the German audience, she coaches athletes like Enduro Israeli superstar Noga Korem, and she keeps adventuring on two wheels for every project that sounds crazy, fun, and challenging.
