Game Time: Fireworks set off as India face Pakistan in World Cup

Earlier this week, Jay Shah, the BCCI secretary and the president of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), said that the Asia Cup 2023, which is to be hosted by Pakistan, will be shifted to a neutral venue. A few days after that, the Pakistan Cricket Board also issued a strongly-worded statement and threatened to boycott the 2023 ODI World Cup. And all this has happened just before the India-Pakistan T20 World Cup match that is scheduled to take place tomorrow (October 23).

In this episode of Game Time, hosts Mihir Vasavda and Rahul Pandey are joined by Indian Express’ Devendra Pandey to talk about these statements, whether this is all political posturing, and the factors that will determine the result of tomorrow’s match (including the weather).
