Kaleef is an Indie Hip-Hop artist raised in the Mid-West but nurtured in Atlanta. At the age of eight-teen, he moved from his hometown of Omaha, NE, to Atlanta, GA, to attend Morehouse College, where he was introduced to the Atlanta hip-hop culture. His melodic and soulful presence shows up front and center in his tracks. Kaleef has changed his rap name various times, most recently from a Spike Lee-inspired Pluto Blackmon to his birth name Kaleef. Kaleef draws strong inspiration from artists such as Chance The Rapper, Andre 3000, and Kanye West. While still finding his sound, he is not afraid to step out of the box and try new flows.
