Say what you want about tik tok, but I've found some pretty incredible people on there. This week I'm joined by Josh Salinas, a cinematographer from California, now living in NY to study film and TV. Josh's journey to making sick videos for tik tok and Instagram started with a Go Pro - strapping it to his chest and doing tricks on his skis. Surprisingly, he didn't pursue cinematography right away. In the beginning, Josh focused on music and trying to become an DJ sensation that swept the nation. After some time, he realized he kept coming back to making videos and decided to pursue it in more depth. On this episode we talk about Josh's journey, how he finds inspiration through music, how he stays consistent and works on video making every day, working for free, networking, goals, and so much more.
