Between 1917 and 1922, the residents of a small French town were terrorised by an anonymous letter writer who exposed secrets and made allegations. Each letter was signed: \\u2018The Eye of the Tiger\\u2019. The rumour mill was churning at a diabolical rate \\u2013 careers ended, marriages became strained and eventually, two people lost their lives. Investigators took five years to unmask the author, a local secretary by the name of Ang\\xe8le Laval. This poison pen letter case became known as the Raven of Tulle Affair.
