Do Things Happen for a Reason?

Published: April 20, 2020, 6 p.m.

Today we Today we will be talking about…do we believe things happen for a reason and if so what is the reason?

The truth is that the "reason" bad things happen isn't somehow baked into our life's trajectory. Terrible things do not happen for reasons we can understand, or even accept. ... We don't own events or their reasons. We own what we do with them.

"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together."

“Things happen for a reason, and sometimes change is inevitable. Change can be terrifying at first, but it is only when we embrace it that we are able to discover our capabilities and inner strength.”

“Life is about change. Sometimes it’s painful. Sometimes it’s beautiful. But most of the time it’s both.”

“Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.” Stephen Hawking

I cannot say whether things will get better if we change; what I can say is they must change if they are to get better.”

It’s horrible what has happened in regards to our pandemic and I am an optimist and I believe things happen for a reason and I don’t say it because I’m trying to find a reason. There are many positives that are happening that we need to pay attention to and put our energy into those so that we can continue moving forward and not lose what we have gained during this crisis…

And we need to be really careful Moving forward that this doesn’t happen again so we need to really protect our country because we have so much to offer the world and we can’t if we don’t take care of us, all of us….food drives and unemployment are huge issues and we can help by pitching in, donating a dollar or a canned good goes a long way…”many hands make light work” so we need to work together and take care of each other.
