On this week's episode of ESPN Soccer Today:

  • First Segment: What's on our mind this week?
    • Tyler takes the ball for this segment to talk about the title races around Europe. With Bayern Munich struggling in Germany, Liverpool and others providing a challenge to Manchester City, and Real Madrid unable to score in Spain, might we actually have some competitive races this year?
  • Second Segment: Steve's Hot Sports Rants
    • Steve Davis had some pent up rage building up over a number of issues. This segment provided him the opportunity to rant on some of those issues, including FIFA disrespecting the Women's World Cup, Tim Howard, and officiating in Major League Soccer.
  • Third Segment: USMNT Roster Talk
    • How do you feel about the USMNT's roster for their upcoming friendlies? Steve and Tyler gave their thoughts on the team called in by Dave Sarachan. Also, was it a good decision to recall Michael Bradley into the team? There was a disagreement in the studio over that question. *NOTE: This episode was recorded before Weston McKennie was removed from the roster.*
  • Fourth Segment: MLS MVP
    • Who should be the 2018 MLS MVP? Is Josef Martinez the runaway winner or do other players hold a claim to the award?
