One Love Buffalo | Ending The Drought
Where to start? We haven't done an episode since mid-December! We finally record one, and there is far too much to talk about. This city has seen a lot of hardship this year. You watch football to (among other reasons) enjoy the escapism and leave everything behind for a few hours. It's all just a fun game at the end of the day. Every once in a while something happens that pulls you right back to reality.
Damar Hamlin's injury was one of the scariest things we've ever seen on the field, and thankfully now he is on the road to recovery - but for a short time we didn't know if that was a guarantee. When things like this happen in city of good neighbors you expect an outpouring of hope, love, and positivity. Sometimes you get a lot more than that.
Thanks for being the best city in the world, Buffalo. We love you.
