When God Says No
b'Hi and welcome back to another Elevator Talk With Michelle Podcast. Today\'s subject is: When God says \\u201cno\\u201d. Sometimes just like every loving mother or father does. Here are some things to remember when God chooses to say \\u201cno.\\u201d\\n1. God Says \\u201cNO\\u201d When He Has A Bigger Perspective. Hebrews 4:13 says: \\u201cHe knows about everyone everywhere. Everything about us is bare and wide open to the all-seeing eyes of our living God; nothing can be hidden from Him. Proverbs. 2:8 says: \\u201c(God) guards the course of the just and protects the way of His faithful ones.\\u201d\\n2. God Says \\u201cNO\\u201d When He Has A Better Plan For You. Hebrews 11:39-40 says: \\u201cThese were commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised. God had planned SOMETHING BETTER.\\n3. God Says \\u201cNO\\u201d When He Has A Greater Purpose For You. 1 Peter 1:7 says: \\u201cThe purpose of these troubles is to test your faith as fire tests how genuine gold is. Your faith is more precious than gold.\\u201d 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 says: \\u201cThese present troubles are quite small and won\'t last very long. Yet they will produce in us an immeasurably great glory that will last forever! So, we don\'t look at the troubles we can see right now; rather, we look forward to what we have not yet seen. For the troubles we see will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever.\\u201d Ecclesiastes 11:5 says: \\u201cJust as you\\u2019ll never understand how the mystery of life forms in a pregnant woman, so you\\u2019ll never understand the mystery at work in all that God does.\\u201d\\nHomework: Pull out your journal and write down your prayer requests that God said No or Not Right Now to. Then using what I have shared with you, think about why you think God didn\\u2019t answer your prayers, the way you thought He should have.
