Today I will be sharing some tips, so you can have a great holiday season with your family and friends, all while not losing it.

1. Don’t wait until the last minute. Schedule your shopping, and decorating when can get it in. You may need to do things on your lunch break, before work, after work or even on the weekends. If you wait for the “perfect moment” it will never happen.

2. Create a budget and stick to it. Remember what the reason for the season truly is and it will help you stick to your budget. Also, you will need to decide who is getting a gift and how much you want to spend on each person. This will keep you from randomly picking up things. If possible, use cash or your VISA Check card. This will keep you from running your credit cards up to the limit.

3. It’s alright to tell people “No”. Your plate will run over very quickly, if you say yes to everything people ask you to do. If you aren’t available to help your cousin decorate her tree, then say “I would love to help you, but I have a lot of things I need to do myself. The key is to say no and be ok with your answer.

4. Get your family involved. Getting your family involved, will ensure you aren’t trying to do everything yourself. After all, sharing is caring!

5. Make sure you are getting enough rest. It is so important to make sure you get enough rest, so you have the energy needed to do all the things you need to do. If possible, try to stick to your regular sleeping routine. Don’t forget to take your daily vitamins and supplements so you can, keep your energy up.

6. Try to create at least one new idea or memory. While it’s nice to use Pinterest and YouTube for decorating ideas, it’s always nice to create your own ideas.

7. Remember in all things be grateful. That means to be grateful for all that you have, no matter how big or small it may be.

I hope and pray you find these suggestions helpful, as you start planning for a great holiday season.
