Day 11- 7 Ways To Create And Capture Holiday Memories

b'We all know there\\u2019s no better time for memory-making than the holidays. So are some great ways to create great memories.\\n(1). Pick out a gift for a sibling: Opening gifts is a classic pic we\\u2019ve all seen, and love. Oh but what about picking out the actual gift? Picking out that special gift will make a great memory to look back on.\\n(2). Putting On Or Taking Off Winter Clothing. This is of course inspired by the hilarious scene in The Christmas Story movie. Helping your little ones get dressed for the cold weather may be a big job, BUT it will be an amazing thing to look back on when they are trying to get their kids dressed for the cold weather in 30 years.\\n(3). Go as a family to volunteer: There are a number of organizations, like the Robin Hood Foundation, that can help you and your get family involved with hands-on opportunities to help those in need. This is a perfect opportunity to record your family members and friends helping other people.\\n(4). Imagine 2022: The holidays are a great opportunity for family and friends, to talk about what their hopes and dreams are for the new year. These interviews are great to look back on, at the end of the year; to see how many of your goals you were able to achieve.\\n(5). Let your little ones \\u201cRead\\u201d a holiday story. \\xa0A big part of learning to read is pretending to read, and there is nothing cuter than when a little child begins to show off their reading \\u201cskills\\u201d. It\\u2019s important to encourage their efforts and taking a video of these efforts is a great way of doing this. Plus, it\\u2019s a cute memory to have as they grow older.\\n(6). Pick out some old toys or clothes to give away to those in need. This makes for a perfect opportunity to clean out the kid\\u2019s toy box and your closet. While you are sorting through things, think about the memories associate with each item.\\n(7). Capture your unique traditions: The thing that your kids want to remember most about the holidays is the unique way your family celebrates.
