What is the relationship between journalism and politics? Especially during a crisis such as Covid-19. I alongside BBC Newsnight\'s Policy Editor Lewis Goodall, discuss the important role that journalism plays in the political sphere, and explore the issues of challenging the government, when there are cries for unit during a crisis, where any criticism can be seen as unpatriotic. Lewis Goddall goes over potential difficulties with the relationship between the British Media and Politicians potentially alienating the public, and explains why people often feel that journalists just aren\'t asking the right questions. Does the media really hold off on the government? What really is the role of journalists during Covid-19? And what are the difficulties of navigating said journalism during a crisis? All these questions and more answered...

After this we discuss the future of the labour party under Keir Starmer and Lewis theorises the potential impact of coronavirus on his future as labour leader.
