Welcome to the sixty-fourth episode of the Dunkin' with Dom podcast! In this episode, Micah and I provide an in-depth analysis of all the major players, teams, and storylines that have dominated headlines early on for this NBA season. We'll start out East and focus on some of the notable teams in that conference, including Charlotte's strong start, the (for now) successful offseasons of Chicago and New York, Miami's upside, concerns with the Nets, questions about Philly, Giannis' dominance, and more. Then, we'll shift out West and run through an assortment of topics, including Russell Westbrook's questionable fit with the Lakers, Utah gearing themself up for a deep postseason run, Golden State's early success, the broader Western Conference playoff picture, and more. Lastly, we'll briefly discuss the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team, including the difficulties of defining who are the "best" NBA players ever, why the criteria is so subjective, and how both of these issues manifested themself in this year's anniversary team. We'll also talk about players that didn't make the team (Dwight Howard, Klay Thompson, etc) as well as players that make this whole situation even more complex when debating the NBA's greatest players ever.
