Welcome to the thirty-fourth episode of the Dunkin' with Dom podcast! In this episode, Pablo and I will center our attention on Game 2 of the NBA Finals and discuss some of our notable takeaways and thoughts. Specifically, we'll focus on Giannis looking a lot like his older self, Milwaukee's supporting cast continuing to struggle (especially Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton), Phoenix's hot shooting from the three-point and foul lines, CP3's consistency, Devin Booker's elevated play in the postseason, and Deandre Ayton's role in the Finals as an x-factor. After that, we'll spend some time talking about the recent reports that have been released of comments made by ESPN reporter Rachel Nichols, including what actually happened, what our general thoughts are, why this is bad for anyone and everyone, and how it affects the NBA both directly and indirectly. Lastly, we'll touch on some important offseason topics, including Detroit's chances of trading the number one pick, teams looking to move up in the draft (Orlando, Oklahoma City, and Golden State, among others), Ben Simmons' trade value, and the USA Olympic team (including opportunities for career revivals and player meet-ups).
