b"Good morning fam!!\\n\\nToday I'm just touching on intergenerational trauma.\\n\\nFrom wiki: Transgenerational trauma, or\\xa0intergenerational trauma\\xa0is a psychological term which asserts that trauma can be transferred in between generations.\\n\\nFor me this trauma manifested as a generational pattern in terms of high school graduation.\\n\\nNone of my grandparents graduated, my parents didn't graduate and neither did a number of my relatives. Despite my best efforts, I also dropped out. \\n\\nI knew when I had my son that I was not going to pass this horrible fate to my son.\\n\\nWhen he began elementary school I knew in my heart that the only way to break the pattern was to lead by example and support him as best I could.\\n\\nI finally graduated in 2015 (19 years after grad) and my son graduated earlier this year.\\n\\nI broke the cycle. And you can too.\\n\\nLove ya!"
