b"Today’s guest is Max Adler. Max is currently a face-off specialist for the Denver Outlaws, a professional lacrosse team part of Major League Lacrosse. Max made his professional lacrosse debut in July of 2017, and since then has been arguably the best face-off specialist in the league. Last season, Max won a league best 58.3% of face-offs and was named to the Major League Lacrosse All-Star Team for the first time in his career. What makes this feat especially impressive is that Max barely made the lacrosse team his freshman year at Division II Bentley University. Lacrosse wasn’t even his main sport in high school. When Max isn’t training or playing lacrosse, he’s a Financial Analyst at ESPN working out of their headquarters in Bristol, CT. It’s probably been too long before I’ve brought on a Bentley alum, and so I’m especially excited to share this conversation with my fellow Bentley University Class of 2017 graduate, Max Adler.

Timestamps
00:02:44 How he's adjusted to the Pandemic situation
00:07:20 Growing up and high school
00:11:15 Wrestling in high school
00:19:12 How wrestling helped his lacrosse game
00:21:12 Why he chose Bentley
00:22:20 Bentley tryouts and first season
00:27:15 Putting in the extra work after freshman year
00:30:51 Job of the face-off specialist
00:32:08 Making it a goal to be an All-American
00:34:42 Applying same work ethic to school
00:37:06 How he got the opportunity to play pro lacrosse
00:42:23 Denver Outlaws tryouts
00:45:50 Living in Boston while playing for Denver
00:48:30 Playing for Israel in the World Championships
00:54:05 Getting the job at ESPN
00:58:28 His daily routine
01:00:42 His driving force
01:02:45 What would he say to freshman year Max at Bentley"
