It is actually about the play of life itself, where people are in a life play of singular events that unfold in their life. That when we live back through these events we don't recognize them as a rerun until we learn from mistakes. In my book, there are twists and turns and what appears to be a non-fiction mystery turns halfway into a surreal fiction where the rerun is happening to the boys after they have died. Unbeknown to them they have just again walked though the same experiences exactly as the events on the day that lead up to their death and their fathers murder. The second half are the souls of the boys searching for their father and uncovering the murder mystery by linking their earthy life friends to their life after ghostly encounters. Thus, the title to follow a life after. Every little thing we do in life has meaning and choice. Do we live our adventures in a way that harms us and others, or helps us and others? The ending of the book examples that the boys work out their murder with help from their friends.
