Curran Nial Williams (born February 24, 2001) better known by his stage name NIAL THE ARTIST, is an American singer, record producer, and songwriter from Columbus, Ohio. NIAL THE ARTIST began his career by forming Capitalaires Records at age 15 because he didn’t think labels would be interested in signing him. NIAL named the label Capitalaires Records because of his grandfather’s group “The Capitalaires” a christian gospel group that was based in Columbus, Ohio. NIAL grew up watching his father and uncle play instruments and influenced him to start producing for himself at a young age. NIAL self produced, self published and self recorded all of his work becoming a self driven creative. He had significant influence due to the fact R&B wasn’t popular in his hometown, he found his own sound. NIAL often produced and wrote for local artists in his city. In college, he gave people free studio time just for the love of the craft. NIAL attended Central State University for two years and ended up deciding to pursue music.
