b"John Howe is Professor of Finance and holds the Missouri Bankers Chair in the Department of Finance at the University of Missouri \\u2013 Columbia (MU). He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He has been a visiting scholar at the University of Cambridge (U.K.) and the Queensland University of Technology (Australia). \\xa0John's research interests include behavioral economics/finance, corporate governance, and banking. He has published extensively in the major academic journals in finance and accounting. \\xa0He has served on the board of directors of two startup companies, on the boards of a bank and its holding company, as well as on three non-profit boards. \\xa0John has won numerous teaching awards. He has taught undergraduate, MBA, executive MBA, and Ph.D. classes. He has also taught courses for the banking group UBS (Switzerland) as well as for the Missouri Bankers Association. \\xa0He is co-author (with Robb Corrigan) of the book The Foolish Corner: Avoiding Mind Traps in Personal Financial Decisions (Stuart Charles Group, 2017, available on Amazon).
