How the Republican Party is Responsible for the January 6th Riots
The Republican Party whose leader is Donald Trump, incited a riot on the US Capitol in Washington DC on January 6th, 2021. Trump who lost the November 3, 2020 general elections refused to accept the results and mounted challenges in battleground states at every judicial level. Through social media he radicalized fringe elements of the Republican Party and invited them to Washington to fight on his behalf, to have the election results decertified. All the while the Republican establishment was radio silent as trump dangerously incited a riot. Terroists stormed the Capitol, calling for ‘Hang Mike Pence’ to vice-President Mike Pence, trump’s second-in-command, stormed the offices of Speaker Pelosi, rummaging through the hallowed halls of Congress, armed to the teeth, with every weaponry lobbied for by the National Rifle Association (NRA) screaming for members of Congress. The Republican Party decimated the sanctity of the halls of Congress and invited rioters to storm it.
