Marginalized communities across the country face reduced access to clean,affordable water. Despite America being the richest nation in the world, communities of poor people,and people of color have limited access to clean, safe,drinking water free of harmful chemicals. Communities in Flint, Michigan have gone without clean,lead-free water for years, with lawmakers hesitating to take responsibility for this failure, and companies refusing to step in and fill in the gap for citizens.
