Serving the best burgers in London and building a cult following - with Joe Grossman of Patty & Bun

This week I sat down with Joe Grossman of Patty & Bun. In a relatively short period of time he has taken Patty & Bun from a pop-up burger stall to a multi-site operation serving what many call the best burgers in London, with a loyal, almost cult-ish following.

Joe's a really interesting, fun guy and it was fascinating to talk about how Patty & Bun have achieved so much so quickly, how they developed their unique style and voice, how they built their following and how they will keep their authenticity as they grow in the future. We also talked about how important it is to him to build real relationships and communities around the businesses and above all to have fun doing it - as he put it, if you're not having fun then what's the point?

It was a great episode to record and will be fun to listen to too. For anyone with entrepreneurial aspirations though it could be incredibly useful, as Joe has a lot to say about the realities of building a business, the dangers of external investors, how to attract raving fans and lots more.
