Taking advantage of every opportunity that came my way to interact with horses whetted my appetite for more experiences. I got my first horse after college graduation then sold him to go the grad school. Afterward, it took me until my late 40\\u2019s, in the process of giving up my dream, to reestablish a relationship with another horse. It was a miracle and horses have been in my life ever since. (I have never owned a horse trailer or property in the country. Rather than compete, I enjoy the relationship I have with my horse. I board near a state forest where I have ridden the same trails, most \\u201calone,\\u201d for over 21 years.)'
