Raise the topic of acupuncture and you’re bound to get a litany of responses, largely driven by personal experiences. It's my great joy to introduce Melissa Camacho. Melisa is a licensed acupuncturist, a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine and a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner. Her study of complementary medicine began in 2001 in the practice of Vinyasa Yoga and meditation, leading to her discovery of Ayurvedic Medicine where she apprenticed until studying under the direction of Dr. Vasant Lad from 2005-2007. In 2008 Melissa began studying traditional chinese medicine, acupuncture, moxibustion and chinese herbs. She obtained her Masters of Science in  Oriental Medicine in 2011 and continued to study Chinese Medicine in China at Heilongjing University of Chinese Medicine in Harbin, China. Melissa is a regular contributor to yoga and health newsletters and magazines. Her clinical practice is located in beautiful Sedona Arizona.
