"That's what the American dream is. If you're being really honest with yourself, this is the land of opportunities and the land of traps, and people don't realize that. I've been trapped a series of times, and I learned from it and moved from it. I'm just gonna see it as an experience as a whole." - Anweezy

As we kick off February, we have decided to interview inspirational black leaders and thinkers in celebration of Black History Month.

This week’s guest is Anwar Ahmed - also known as Anweezy.

Anwar (@anweezy) is a software engineer turned music producer & entrepreneur, who believes deeply in creating your own path through intuitive experimentation.

At the age of 27, Anwar has co-founded numerous companies and worked in a wide range of industries, including food trucks, dispensaries, software consulting, music management, and now, music production.

In this week’s episode, Anwar shares his incredible life journey - including stories about hacking T-Mobile at age of 15, playing college basketball after being cut from his high school team, and a never-told before story of his mental health challenges at Penn State.

We hope you enjoy this episode of Discover More, with us and Anweezy.
