Winter brings cold temperatures, sometimes horrible weather, and some of the best trophy catfish fishing of the years.  Early winter is a great time to catch trophy catfish in those areas where ice has not overtaken your waterways.  Some of the biggest catfish of the year are caught in late December and early January before the frigid winter temperatures set in.

In this catfishing podcast I talk about some of the things I\'ve observed over the years while fishing during my favorite time of the year to be on the water.
