Destin Fox recently caught a 94 pound blue catfish in Lake Wateree in South Carolina. The is a new unofficial lake record catfish for Lake Wateree, and the biggest that has eve been caught in the Catawba Wateree River basin. While the state record catfish from South Carolina is over ten pounds larger, this record catfish is a rare specimen anywhere in the Carolinas and a world class catfish anywhere in America. Destin Fox and Ryan Williams were fishing on Lake Wateree when 15 tear-old Fox caught the 94-pound blue catfish.
