As Longfellow wrote in his infamous poem Paul Revere's Ride, "One if by land, two if by sea" describing the Redcoat's travel plans from Boston to Concord, we can almost re-envision this today as a description of hunting and fishing in the modern world- one whitetail land, two stripers by sea. Now it's the hunt, and perhaps a new fight for freedom, that is conducted in the suburbs of Boston where the American Revolution began. According to Justin Coots and Jacob Bennett, members of a fairly new band of bowhunting patriots call Boston Bowhunter, it's darn good hunting in and around Boston. We discuss how Justin, a fairly new hunter and Jacob, a seasoned deer hunter, plan there hunts in and around the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts and why they founded the Boston Bowhunter group.
