DDP Radio: Is clean eating affordable?

Published: May 29, 2014, 1 a.m.

Wednesday, it’s a show all about busting the biggest myth of all in the world of DDPYOGA:  that clean eating equates to unaffordability. Robert, Stacey, and Mike concur that the most frequent excuse by far they hear from new members is that they can’t eat clean because it’s too expensive. And while eating gluten and dairy-free may not be the cheapest route to go, who says you have to choose processed and prepackaged food?  There are plenty of affordable options such as bulk produce, baking mixes instead of premade baked goods, lentils, and inexpensive carbs such as rice, potatoes, and corn. To prove our point, we welcome special guest, Team DDPYOGA member Jodi Verdi, who’ll talk in detail about how she shops and cooks clean for her entire family – and saves money in the process! It involves strategizing and planning, but she says it can be done.
