While white supremacists threaten to storm the Capitol once again, San Francisco Supervisors are getting back to work to tackle the mess 2020 left us. Supervisor Matt Haney (@matthaneysf) has been a fierce advocate for renters rights, holistic solutions to homelessness, mental health, and mass incarceration, and one of the most vocal critics of corruption that has plagued San Francisco's Department of Public Works (DPW). Voters overwhelmingly passed both of Haney's ballot measures in November 2020--an excessive CEO tax and a measure to bring more oversight and transparency to DPW.
