Episode 11 - Endorsement Alert! The Movement Continues with Daniel Wayne Lee
The Jackie Fielder for State Senate campaign was never about just one person. It wasn't even about just one state senate seat. All of us who pitched into this movement knew that win or lose, this was the beginning of something California had never seen before. The movement continues with Culver City Vice Mayor Daniel Wayne Lee (@danielwaynelee0), a veteran, activist, organizer, social worker, and candidate for California State Senate District 30. He became the first African-American member of the Culver City council in its over 100 year history in 2018 and is also a doctoral candidate at USC. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Move to Amend, the Backbone Campaign, Mockingbird Incubator and the Clean Power Alliance.
