Episode 26: Roger Miller

Published: March 3, 2015, 7:35 a.m.

Today, I have the honor of interviewing Roger Miller, the Executive Director of the Mind Body Awareness Project (aka MBA Project) whose mission is to help youth transform harmful behavior and live meaningful lives through mindfulness meditation and emotional awareness.

Founded in 2000, MBA designs, delivers, and researches mindfulness and emotional literacy programs for youth-at-risk. MBA also trains educators and youth service providers nationally and internationally.

Roger has studied meditation for over 12 years and his daily meditation practice informs his work and leadership style. He thinks deeply about class, race and privilege and acts wherever possible to challenge the systems that reinforce that privilege. Roger also currently serves on the Leadership Sangha (Board of Directors) of the East Bay Meditation Center.

The Mind Body Awareness Project can be found at www.MBAProject.org.
