Why Is It Hard For People With Dyslexia To Learn How To Read? (P3)

Published: Jan. 21, 2022, noon

Hay guys this is part 3 of learning to read with dysleixa by a dyslexic, today is about why do dyslexics find it hard to read.

3 Key takeaways are.
1-We find it hard to break down the phonemes of a word, it takes 5x more energy than non-dyslexics.

2- Our thinking style is a big picture at the expense of detail and then this doesn’t support the overall narrative (the forest at the cost of the trees).

3. Things that we find hard due to this is thinking and keeping things in our memory, multi-step directions, punctuation, random rules/symbols.
