www.commsolutions.com-\\xa0 There seems to be a growing trend for political parties to get involved in and endorse local, nonpartisan candidates. These races were never meant to be politicized in that way. Dark money is flooding into certain races to elect people that are going to hold to a certain set of principles, such as criminal justice reform (i.e. getting rid of cash bail) or pushing the trans agenda in the schools.

Hennepin County Attorney candidate, Mary Moriarty, is a former public defender (which is troubling for someone that wants to be the top prosecutor), and her website is full of DFL endorsements. Then there\'s all of the out-of-state and special interest money that comes in to sway these local elections. That\'s not a crime. In fact, we\'d never want to see someone stripped of their first amendment rights in supporting the candidate of their choice, but we\'re not sure if it\'s working to have these PACs donating millions and hiding their donors. Join in the conversation and tell us what you think.

We also discuss the recent passing of Mary Kay LeTourneau and why certain crimes and criminals are given tacit approval for some and not for others, and the state of the MN governor\'s race.
